Step Up

I have watched many movies that have dancing as a theme . But Step Up is the best of the genre . High School Musical(s) are good , so are the moves but not as jaw dropping as this .

Its not about the usual ballet school stuff centered around people wanting 2 get into Julliard ( trust me i have seen about five versions of the same plot ) , but rather about Street Dancing . For those of you who don't know what it is well its sort of a envelope of whats popularly known as Hip Hop , break dancing , funk but not just restricted to that alone nor it is anything you see in the dance studios . It more like a fusion with people getting together and showing off their moves . Something analogous to freestyle in swimming .

Well back to the movie , the plot is something that is damn predictable , so don't watch it if you are some one who is on the look out for a different script , it has the usual predictable teenage movie stuff in it , guy meets girl , the popular girl hates her , plots against her etc etc and the happy ending likes.

Watch it if you are some who is totally passionate about dancing ( not necessary you should know how to dance , i definitely don't ) , but ya if you can appreciate some extra ordinary choreography then ya i think it will live up to your expectation . Especially the second movie . The Street Dance competition sequence in it especially the rain dance bit , is well , i don't know any word as of yet to describe it , so go ahead and judge it yourself .

And ya how can i not mention the heroes .. sure r hot eye candies :) and they dance like a dream .Well So ........ Go Chase !!! ( well that's the character's name don't take it literally ) .
